Christabelle was born in the Sultanate of Brunei, moving from there at the age of six to spend some time in India before settling in Western Australia. After leaving school she was inspired to return to studying and embarked upon a science degree course at the University of Western Australia, graduating with majors in pharmacology and physiology, and a minor in biochemistry.
Unfortunately, Christabelle's love of sport led to her sustaining a traumatic back injury resulting in her being unable to continue participation. Christabelle saw a podiatrist, and was amazed at the response of her body to this type of therapy. This inspired her to embark upon a degree in podiatry at Curtin University which she completed in 1991.
Christabelle then entered private practice in well-established clinics at Mount Lawley and Midvale and since that time has carved a very successful professional career for herself. She has also been the podiatrist to the State basketball team and football team.
With over 15 years experience as a podiatrist and working closely with a wide variety of other health professionals, Chris likes to take a holistic approach with podiatry as this ultimately leads to a more successful treatment. Although enjoying treating all aspects of podiatry, she has special interests in bio mechanics. Ryan Ryan was born in East Fremantle and studied at the Perth Academy of Natural Therapies graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine - (Acupuncture & Chinese herbs) and accolades including 'Best Clinical Practitioner'.
On completing his studies he travelled to Hangzhou, China to further his learning in Chinese Medicine through two separate internships at the Hangzhou City, and Zhejiang Provincial Hospitals of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Working under some of the most well respected practitioners in Southern China, Ryan was exposed to the latest strategies and techniques that China has to offer in the treatment of most modern day diseases.
In 2007 Ryan was invited back to China to work with Dr Xuan Li Hua, director of Acupuncture at The Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of TCM to further develop his skills in a unique style of acupuncture designed to treat chronic pain.
Whilst in China, Ryan also studied an ancient form of Chinese health exercise called 'Da Yan Qigong' under a very famous and well respected teacher named Grandmaster Yin. Ryan completed his training and was accepted into the 'Wushu Federation of China' and officially named the fourth son of Grandmaster Yin to continue on the Dan Yan Qigong lineage. He hopes one day to pass on the teachings so others can experience the benefits of this graceful, ancient art.
Ryan's treatments draw on both traditional and modern Chinese medical techniques including:
Also diet and lifestyle advice to assist the body's own healing and defence mechanisms in removing pathogenic influences and to restore and maintain harmony and balance.
Ryan believes Chinese Medicine is a way of life not only a preventative and curative form of healthcare and hopes to give every patient a clear insight into the benefits of understanding their body from a TCM perspective.

Kevin was born in Zimbabwe, and took an early extremely keen interest in sport particularly swimming, progressing this interest later to become a physical education teacher. Upon his relocation to the United Kingdom he studied at the British School of Osteopathy and gained his B.Sc.(Ost.) in 1990.
He commenced practising at a well-known clinic in London for some years before moving to another practice close to Cambridge. Eventually, he took the step of establishing his own practice at Epping in 1998 and studied basic acupuncture, before deciding to settle in Perth early in 2006.
An experienced osteopath, physical therapist and acupuncturist, Kevin's specialist interest is in sports injuries. Having had a wealth of experience in the international sporting arena representing Great Britain at water polo, and Zimbabwe at rugby, swimming and water polo, he has worked with the British Water polo squad and Members of the Olympic rowing team and other athletes.

Wayne was born in Southampton (U.K.) and attended the Victoria University of Technology in Melbourne completing a Bachelor of Science and Masters degree in Osteopathy. He has been a registered osteopath since 1999 at which time he relocated to Perth to commence his Osteopathic practice.
Whilst in Melbourne, Wayne was able to attract a number of grants to assist in his masters research, which focused on osteopathic manipulative technique and prostate disease. His work has been published in the peer review Journal of Osteopathic Medicine.
Wayne offers a comprehensive approach in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. He has completed additional studies in dry needling and intramuscular stimulation, methods that involve the precise placement of fine acupuncture needles into taut bends of shortened muscle. Wayne believes that prolonged muscle spasm can alter the normal reaction forces in joints leading to a state of sustained compression in the joint. Accordingly he uses various deep tissue massage techniques as well as other osteopathic methods such as mobilisation stretching and manipulation.
Wayne has an active interest in dynamic stretching techniques having attended seminars conducted by Kit Laughlin, the author of "How to Overcome Neck and Back Pain" . He believes that good muscle function is a primary defence against pain and recurrent musculoskeletal problems and, not surprisingly, stresses the importance of exercise in his comprehensive treatment approach.

Barbara has a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapies and over many years has studied numerous additional courses and techniques. Included are Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue work, Trigger Point Therapy, Bowen Therapy, Myopractic, Emmett Technique and Non-manipulative Mobilising Massage. Melissa studied Biological and Environmental
Science at Murdoch University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science.
She gained experience in pathology at Great Ormond Street Hospital
for Children in London, before returning to W.A. and, while working
at the Department of Agriculture and Food, studied Reflexology at
the West Australian School of Reflexology in 2000. In 2002 she completed
her full Diploma of Reflexology, the highest level possible. She
is a Professional Member of the Reflexology Association of Australia.
While studying Naturopathy at the Perth Academy of Natural Therapies,
Melissa completed a Certificate of Swedish Massage in 2005. Melissa
gained her Certificate in Maternity Reflexology in 2009, enabling
her to provide specifically tailored reflexology massage to preconception
and pregnant women.
The reflexology 'map' has continually evolved over the centuries
and is used to massage reflexology points - 'reflections of the
body' - to promote healing and relaxation throughout the body. Reflexology
benefits the circulatory and lymphatic systems by improving blood
and lymph flow to and from the lower extremities. During a reflexology
session the muscles of the foot and lower leg are thoroughly massaged
and the result is deep relaxation.
Reflexology is beneficial for men and women of all ages. Reflexology
pressure points accurately pinpoint patients' ailments and by working
these points, shifts in the patient's health will occur. Melissa
helps patients address health issues through Reflexology, Maternity
Reflexology, Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage and essential oils.
Besides being a busy mum, other interests include environmental
health, safety and toxicity in personal care products, nutrition,
gardening and fitness walking.
