Heavy Metal Poisoning - a case study by PNMC's Dr. Kitty Campion

Alan told me his wife was threatening to leave and take the kids because of his drinking. How much I asked? A bottle a night came back laconically, but I could see the pain in his eyes; he meant a bottle of whisky. I was amazed he was still functioning so well, being one of the top sales people in the country. His family were his life so when I talked of radical detox including oxygen baths, colonics, liver pads and flushes, periodic juice fasts and herbs as well as an intense emotional intelligence course to help him heal all his relationships, he didn't hesitate.

He changed his life so totally and with such success that every member of his family came to thank me and I saw several of them separately for help with their own health including his little boy Christian. Now he was a challenge!

Just turned six he behaved like a demon. I had difficulty stilling him long enough to test him and his mother was helpless before his rage as he ran round my clinic hammering the walls, doors and furniture. My staff and my cat took cover while I eventually bundled him up and put him in the garden to do his worst while I talked to his mother.

I had found very high levels of lead in him and this in spite of living in the countryside off a brilliantly prepared organic diet. Some patient questioning on my part (in another life I'd have made a good detective!) revealed that his family were so keen on organic that they grew their own produce, but the local council had shut down their allotment. Enquiring at the Town Hall it transpired the soil had been heavily contaminated by lead, hence the closure.

Christian's mother had been conscientiously eating produce from the site during her pregnancy, and of course, babies in utero are particularly sensitive to anything their mother ingests. Heavy metal detox is a painstaking and difficult process at the best of times but his family gathered round him and helped him even though initially his rage was so great his cooperation had to be won centimetre by centimetre.

My bioresonance testing had confirmed most of the lead accumulated in his brain (it's a neurotoxin) but his kidneys and colon had also been affected. At my insistence his family bought an infrared sauna which he used daily. The various herbal formulae I used worked well over time. By his eighth birthday he was a totally different boy. Cheeky but charming and full of the joy of life.

Heavy metal poisoning is interesting because although it attacks the body systemically, it tends to migrate to specific tissue and which tissue can only be individually ascertained and treated. Some are able to pass it through easily and it doesn't affect it. At the other end of the spectrum there are people who are floored by it (and frequently misdiagnosed). For example candida often comes up as part of the picture. This is the body's desperate attempt to try and get the yeast pores to absorb the far more dangerous heavy metals by way of self defence.

So patients with persistent candida often prove to have underlying metal poisoning and until the latter is cleared up the candida will persist.

A dental friend of mine working out of his surgery in Harley Street, London, found my heavy metal formula excellent for getting rid of mercury during amalgam removal. I used the same formula very successfully in Stoke-on-Trent potteries working with ceramic pewters and steel workers who had high levels of cadmium and lead.

Fatigue/Exhaustion/Heart Palpitations by PNMC's Sam Botica

Mrs S has cardiomyopathy and presented with heart palpitations which were severe at night and interfering with her sleep. She had muscle weakness and felt exhausted with not enough energy to exercise. During the past 5 years, much stress had also contributed to her poor sleep pattern and she displayed high cortisol levels which had contributed to weight gain; Mrs S rated her energy at only 4/10.

After the initial consultation and testing, she was put on a specific magnesium supplement (containing much higher potassium levels than would normally be found in over-the-counter supplements) and smart nutrients to improve heart function and energy delivery to the cells. She was also given herbs to improve stress response and to reduce her cortisol levels.

After only 6 weeks Mrs S felt far better rating her energy level at 7/10. She was not experiencing any palpitations and was sleeping well; her breathlessness had gone and was able to do much more exercise. She is now currently focusing (successfully) on her weight management.

Unsolicited and out of the blue, Stephen M recently emailed this to us:
"I've been thinking how selfish I've been. I've been coming to your Clinic for well over 25 years and I'm now 50. You solved my acne problem back in the early eighties without drugs when the medical profession had no answer. I came to you recently and mentioned casually that after SKG scans it became apparent that I had a serious full thickness tear in my shoulder tendon along with bone degradation. Chronic Sinusitis as told by PNMC's Sam Botica

Mrs W, 41 years old, came to see me suffering with severe chronic sinusitis and hay fever. She had a constant postnasal drip, headaches, sore eyes and swollen glands. Once a week she would have a discharge of pus from the left nostril. After a life of repeated infections, antibiotics and sinus operations she was told nothing further medically could be done for her.

I decided to use Quantum testing for Mrs W and discovered specific food and airborne sensitivities, immune and adrenal weakness. She was put on probiotics and herbs to improve immunity, clear out the sinuses and infection.

Within a month her energy levels, pain and congestion improved; her glands were down and her sense of smell was beginning to return. I kept Mrs W on this regime and after a nasal polyp erupted 4 months later I added a homeopathic to help drain the lymph.
