A Holistic and Integrated Approach
Drawing on her training in counselling, hypnotherapy, trauma-informed care and life coaching, Amanda works holistically with the mind, body and nervous system. This integrated approach allows her to help clients not only understand their patterns, but also gently shift the beliefs and emotional responses that keep them stuck.
Clients often report feeling a strong sense of ease and connection from their first session, noting that Amanda’s approach feels supportive, grounded, and deeply respectful.
Professional Background
Amanda’s professional journey began in 2003 with training and practice in counselling. Later in 2010 a family-related challenge led Amanda to explore the benefits of Hypnotherapy to support this family member. Seeing first-hand the significant and rapid results this provided, inspired her pursuit of formal training in Clinical Hypnotherapy and incorporate this into her practice.
Her early professional work included supporting Solaris Cancer Support patients, where she used hypnotherapy to help reduce anxiety and emotional distress associated with cancer. Amanda also volunteered with The Samaritans, further developing her ability to listen deeply and respond with empathy and clarity during times of crisis.
In 2007, Amanda opened her own practice in the Perth Hills, and since then has supported a wide range of clients across emotional, behavioural, and relational concerns.
Her guiding philosophy remains simple and effective:
“Change your thoughts, change your life.”

What People Are Saying
“I have visited Amanda Davies for hypnotherapy 5 to 6 times, and the experience has been truly transformative. Her expertise and approach have helped me gain control over my relationship with food, something I had struggled with for years.
I initially sought Amanda out for hypnosis, but I quickly realized how much I also benefited from the therapeutic aspect of our sessions—something I didn’t even know I needed.
Her sessions provide a space to release long-held habits and empower lasting change, equipping me with the tools to create long-term results on my own.”
- Julia
“I’ve had hypnotherapy in the past but Amanda’s practice feels very nuanced and intuitive. She has a profound ability to read you and meet you at the exact point you need.
Putting the hypnosis aside, she also provides such a supportive space to talk about the issues at hand and offers practical advice that doesn’t seem daunting to incorporate into your routine. Before meeting Amanda, I have left counselling sessions feeling drained from the emotional outpouring but, walking out of Amanda’s space, I feel lighter, happier and like I’ve had a mental massage.
To put it simply…my experience with Amanda has been life changing. If you are looking for a holistic therapist to facilitate lasting change, I encourage you to book an appointment. Run… don’t walk!!!”
- Rachel
“The moment I see Amanda's smiling face greeting me, I instantly feel a sense of calm and peace.
It doesn't matter if it is the first time you're seeing her or you've been multiple times before, she is so warm and inviting that you feel as though you're seeing an old friend to have a cup of tea while filling them in on your life. She knows me better than I know myself and is so genuine which always makes me feel as though my feelings are always validated.
It doesn't matter if I'm laughing or crying, I always leave her feeling that little bit lighter and for that I'll be eternally grateful for. She is an absolute blessing and I'm so thankful to have found her and her guidance.”
